Fanghuichuntang was founded in 1649 by Fang Qingyi and still follows traditional recipes, only selects the purest materials, uses China’s most authentic medicinal ingredients, and hires only the best employees. This pharmacy formulates a variety of pills, powders, and ointments based on traditional techniques, and is especially well known for its rejuvenation pill（huichunwan） for children, which has been well received, handed down among families, and treated countless children.
It is the time-honored brand of traditional Chinese medicine. There is the carved hall with stone wall and door, as well as 2 entrances and 2 halls. The house is profound, and decorated richly. The wing-rooms on either side of a one-storey house as well as the counter show the style of this old pharmacy.
Following ancient guidance of “making money without selling fake things”, it regards “famous doctors and good medicine” as the pharmacy foundation. The authentic medicinal herbs are selected carefully, and hundreds of old famous Chinese medicine masters are invited to be the doctors on site. Each year, there are the winter paste supplement festival, Shenrong festival, and other traditional folk activities such as Dragon Boat Festival for sending sachets, and Laba Festival for sending porridge.
