Qiandao Lake
Longshan Island
Longshan Mountain has been a famous scenic spot in west Zhejiang since ancient times. As the saying goes, “Bronze bridge, iron well and gold hill; stone canyon, traditional academy and alive Longshan Mountain”. Being 5km away from the town, this scenic spot covers an area of 3.5 hectares, and is 208m high above the sea level. There’re lots of scenic spots on Longshan Island, including HAI Rui Temple, Shi Xia (Stone Canyon) Academy, Ban Mu (Half Mu) Pool and Bell Tower.

Walking into HAI Rui Temple, you will see lots of carved beams, painted pillars, and inscribed tablets, which record anecdotes of upright official HAI Rui in Ming Dynasty and how Chun’an people of generations honor him. As a place with the essence of ancient Chun’an culture, Longshan Island has a series of cultural spots including Xin’an Painting Academy, Bell Tower and Iron Well.
