Hezhu Tower
Hezhu Tower, named Hanggong Tower in the old city, was built during Xianfeng Period in Qing Dynasty. Scholars at that time showed great respect to HANG Shijun, a famous scholar of the past, because of his learning, moral quality and career experience. So they donated to establish a stone tower inside Hang and Li’s Temple of Hezhu in memory of him. It was called “Hanggong Tower” at the very beginning.

Hezhu Tower has now been moved to the west side of Jiangxianggong Temple, Hezhu Street. Overlooking from the tower, tourists will see reed shoal, temples, natural landscape, prosperous streets and fairs, the Dragon Boat Racing Gathering and martial art ring, inspiring a feeling of “flowers blooming in four seasons bring seasonal sceneries, clouds dispersing to all directions bring wind from all directions”.
