West Lake
Prince Bay Park
Located at the southwest corner of the West Lake, Prince Bay Park neighbors ZHANG Cangshui Temple at the east, reaches Jiuyao Mountain and Nanping Hill at the south, connects Chishan Port at the west and faces Flower Pond Park at the north. It is said to be the burial garden of Prince Zhuangwen and Prince Jingxian in Southern Song Dynasty. This is how the name Prince Bay Park comes from. Covering an area of 80.03 hectares, this park has become a large dreamlike park full of rural delights newly built along the south line of the West Lake.

The Prince Bay Park was founded in July 1988, and basically completed in 1989. It is the earliest wedding park in Hangzhou. There are projects such as “Loyal and Faithful” and “Together Forever”. In the whole park, there are the garden roads and waterways as the interval, roughly dividing it into three scenic spots, which are the eastern, the central, and the western. The masterstroke of the park is an open channel of the West Lake Water Diversion Project, forming a pure and fresh scenic spot by intercepting water into fall, surrounding water with continent and building the bridge across the water. It has made Chinese traditional gardening art and modern garden aesthetics into the unity of harmony, forming a pure and fresh scenic spot with an appropriate space such as Pipa Island, Jade Garden, Xiaoyao Slope, Jade Heron Pool, Yile Yuan, and Taichi Ping.
