Baisha Bridge
Baisha Bridge is located in Xin’an River section of 320 National Highway from Shanghai to Ruili, north from Ma Yuan, crossing Xin’an River to Baisha village; it is the first multiaperture, long-span stone arch bridge in China. It was open to traffic in 1st July, 1960. As an important transport hub connecting the two sides of Xin’an River, it ends the legend of “Going over the world, but being trapped by Baisha” and “Crossing the river is more difficult than going the heaven”.
