Grand Canal
Wulinmen Wharf
The construction of Hangzhou Wulinmen Wharf was finished in September 1976. With a bank line of 198m, Wulinmen Wharf is the terminal of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal. It is located at the widest part of the Grand Canal in the region of Hangzhou. The whole wharf covers an area of 3,925m2. As the largest passenger wharf on inland river in Zhejiang, Wulinmen Wharf is at the cultural and commercial center of Hangzhou.

Wulinmen Wharf is a must for passing through Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal in Hangzhou; the old canal now also plays a role of golden watercourse, and it is now the “central station” of Hangzhou water bus, sitting on which the tourists can enjoy the beautiful scenery along the canal.
