Xiangji Temple
Located at Xiangjisi Lane, Hushu, Hangzhou, Xiangji Temple was built in 978 and has a history of over 1,000 years. It was formerly named as Xingfu Temple, and is now a famous temple in Hushu area of Hangzhou. It was once the distribution center of pilgrims who were heading to Lingyin and Tianzhu, earning it the honor of “Temple with the Intensest Incense along the Grand Canal”.

Xiangji temple used to be a famous temple in Hushu area of the Grand Canal; it enjoys a very high status in the canal basin and Hangzhou Buddhist circles, and is the first temple for entering Hangzhou and the last one for leaving.
