Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport
Opened in late December 2000, the airport has three terminals and two runways. Designated an 4F class airport, it can accommodate scheduled Airbus A380 service. The airport boasts flights to 93 cities in China and serves 39 international and regional destinations, creating a route network that connects East Asia, Southeast Asia, Europe, and the Americas. Domestically, it is one of the top five airports of entry and one of the 10th largest airports. It is also ranked among the one hundred best airports in the world. In 2015, passenger traffic reached 28,355,000 and is expected to exceed 30 million in 2016. Located in the east Hangzhou of Zhejiang Province, 27 kilometers from downtown, it is the Chinese important trunk-line airport, the international regular flight airport, the Class I air port opening to the outside world and the international flight alternate airport. It is also the first aerial portal of Zhejiang Province and the 10th airport stepping into “$20 Million Club” in Chinese mainland.
