Hangzhou CBD
Located along the northern bank of the Qiantang River, the Hangzhou CBD, also known as the Qianjiang New District, has a total planning area of more than 20 square kilometers, with a core area of 4.02 square kilometers and a gross construction floor space of nearly eight million square meters. The main artery of the CBD boasts the Citizen Center, the Hangzhou International Conference Center, the Hangzhou Grand Theatre, the Urban Balcony, and Culture Wave City, which exemplify classic motifs of traditional architecture such as “the sun and moon shining together” and “hemispherical heaven over square earth.” Branching off from the main artery of the CBD are a number of high-end commercial office buildings and upscale hotels. Touted as the new city center, the Hangzhou CBD is also the financial center of Zhejiang Province. 
Hangzhou is now marching toward from “West Lake Age” to “Qiantang River Age”. Since Qianjiang New City started construction, a series of industry reaction, investment move and municipal construction have injected new vigor into Hangzhou’s development. The positioning of Qianjiang New City acting as “Hangzhou CBD, Paradise New Landmark, Main Service Industry Platform” raises increasingly. Building Qianjiang New City is to make Hangzhou become a city with “heart”.
